I was doing so good posting and then I looked up and realized that it had been a few weeks! I have seriously been swamped these past weeks with finishing up school. I had two projects and a final paper due that I miraculously ended up getting finished at the last minute. Have no idea how that got pushed to the back burner but I blew that fire out real quick because my degree was in arms reach. Won’t nothing stopping me. I repeat n o t h i n g….. Since I have graduate though it’s like a ray of sunshine has appeared and Elle and I have been chillin like the villains that we are. Oh, and a bit has transpired.
Obvi I graduated. You are looking at a Master of Arts in Strategic Communications Graduate. I am so happy and relieved to be done with school yet excited for the future. I was that person who said I would never go back to school but when I did decide to go back I definitely did not expect to get pregnant. Needless to say, it was hard but perseverance has paid off. To bad, it can’t pay back student loans…
Elle had her baptism and it was amazing. The baptism in itself was beautiful and of course the meaning behind it is also but to have our closest family and friends come to share in the day with us we could not have been more blessed. The day all around was one of the best days and I couldn’t have asked for a more amazing moment and memory.
Elle’s hair is so thick and she is also a sweater so I have had a hard time combing it lately as well as keeping it moisturized. So, of course, I took to Youtube to hopefully find some answers. Most moms use Shea Moisture Baby Hair Products but I didn’t want to spend so much when I am just trying to find a routine for her so I opted for Just For Me Natural hair products. I have decided that I want to use only natural products on her hair so this is a step in the right direction. I picked up the Just For Me by Soft & Beautiful Natural Hair Milk Leave-In Detangler and Just For Me by Soft & Beautiful Natural Hair Milk Curl Smoother. So far I can tell a small difference in her hair. It isn’t so dry and easier to run my hands through. Hopefully, these products will help but any suggestions are always welcome!
I love this Sleeveless Shift Dress from Old Navy. It is super comfortable and not too expensive. I have already worn it twice and I can see a third in the near future.
Desmond and I finished watching a series on Amazon called Sneaky Pete. The season was so good and the actors were great. It’s like a mix between drama and comedy with a bit of mystery mixed in. I feel like mystery is not the right word but when it was recommended to me they described it to me as an Oceans Eleven type of vibe, which I guess fits. You have to have an Amazon Prime account to watch but if you know somebody who knows somebody who knows somebody you should check it out. I do not think you will be disappointed.
Hope everyone has a wonderful rest of the week.
P.S. Will be doing a giveaway soon! Stay tuned!
